| Grant/Proposal Writer Proposal writers are needed to help build and strengthen our programs and services for children, teens and families. Previous grant writing experience is preferred. Senior and Assistant Editors Our magazine Just Like Me is written by current and former foster and adopted teens, adults and friends of the foster care community. This magazine provides a voice for our most valuable population. We're looking for strong result driven individual with a passion to give back. Drama, Voice, and Dance Coaches and Teachers Instructors are wanted to work in the District of Columbia, Baltimore, Prince George's and Northern Virginia communities If you are an Arts teacher or performer who wants to support some of this area's most amazingly talented youth come teach with us. Tech Supporters Set up lighting and sound for a number of shows, special events, and performances. Must know how to operate a sound and lighting board. Did you know that every two minutes a child enters into the foster care system?. Did you know 25,000 foster youth age out of the system annually with little or no support in place? Not cool! Children should not be expected to leave their support based system and automatically become self sufficient. It just does not work that way. We all need someone we can call for emotional, social, and yes financial support pass 21. You know like a family! Remember when you left home. How many times did you call back for support?
